27 June 2010	Here are some more photos and reports from the Gathering, lots more to come. And please support our sponsors who made this great event possible. 15 June 2010	Well the 8th Australian 4x4 gathering is now over. What a great time was had by all. Keep watching this site over the next few days for photos, reports and all the statistics.
10 June 2010	The weather here at Pomona is fantastic. 80 cars have already arrived and set up camp. The Mitsubishi 4WD Club workers have done a great job in setting up the grounds. See you all on arrival. Have a great weekend.
2 June 2010	Only a week to go!! The Event Guide is now finalised, check the Events page. We also now have over $36,000 worth of prizes to be won in the Giant Multi Draw Raffle. Make sure you buy plenty of tickets. They will cost $5 each or 5 for $20. As a Gathering special, if you purchase $40 worth of tickets in one go, you will automatically receive a brand new Spare Wheel Cover (worth $50).
30 May 2010	We have reached capacity on the showgrounds so must reluctantly now close registrations. Thank you to all who have registered and we are looking forward to seeing you all at this great event.
23 May 2010	Read the latest Newsletter Here, only 3 weeks to go, not long now. Merchandise orders have now closed, but there will be a limited supply of items available at the registration desk.
21 May 2010	We have just secured some more great major sponsors. In all, we now have over $35,000 worth of fantastic prizes to be won in the Giant Multi Draw Raffle. Make sure you buy plenty of Raffle tickets when you arrive at the Registration area. Tickets will also be on sale during the Gathering.
19 My 2010	We have only 30 sites left. Register now or you will miss out.
12 May 2010	The planning for the Gathering is well advanced, we can see the light at the end of the Tunnel. All trips, events and workshops will be locked in during the next few days. Registrations will close in just over 2 weeks and sites are running out rapidly, avoid disappointment, Register now.
7 May 2010	The program for Workshops has now been updated, check them out on the Events page. There is something there for everyone.
5 May 2010	Merchandise orders have now closed except for shirts. We have only about 60 camp sites left, so Register now to avoid missing out on this great event.
28 April 2010	Merchandise orders close on the 30th of April, that's this coming Friday. We will be placing the major order for Merchandise with our supplier on 3 May, however our supplier has indicated that they can still take orders for Shirts only, until 20 May. Any orders received after that date cannot be guaranteed. Order and Register now before its too late.

21 April 2010	Sites are filling quickly and not many are left. If bookings exceed the number of available sites, registrations will unfortunately have to close earlier than anticipated. To avoid disappointment Register NOW.

12 April 2010	Registrations are flooding in and sites are filling fast. Don't leave your Registration too late. Registrations close on the 28th of May and Merchandise orders close on 30th April. To avoid disappointment, register NOW.
10 April 2010	We have been asked by several people regarding driving qualifications required to take part in Medium and Hard trips. The committee has decided that demonstrated 'equivalent similar experience' will be accepted, provided that all other conditions are met. see the Trip Standards page for details.

17 March 2010 St Patricks Day!	By mid March over 130 registrations have been received from 30 clubs and groups from all over Australia. The committee will shortly be allocating camping areas to Clubs and groups, so please encourage your members to register soon to ensure all your members are camping together. It would also be helpful if Club Trip Coordinators could email us and advise how many vehicles are expected. Thankyou!

28 Oct 2009	We have been able to secure some fantastic entertainers for Saturday and Sunday nights. On Saturday night we will have Uncle Bob's Jug Band, a very popular local band based in Eumundi. On Sunday night we have two great entertainers Adam Kilpatrick and Laura Downing, who have both performed at the Gympie Country Music Muster and at Tamworth among many other venues. 5 Oct 2009	After receiving feedback from potential participants and considering the current financial climate, we have decided not to include any pre-paid catered meals. Meals will be available however at the showgrounds or from one of the restaurants and cafes in Pomona for purchase if you wish.
28 May 2009	Please Note: All Queensland residents are automatically covered for Ambulance transport, however interstate residents and visitors may not be.
